Dr. Sarah Mizzoni D.C.

Chiropractor

Dr. Mizzoni grew up as an active child, who loved being outside and riding horses. This love for horses especially is what brought her into the chiropractic world. When Dr. Mizzoni was 10 years old she started to have low back pain after riding, and her doctor told her she would have to quit riding or go and see a chiropractor. So, she went to the chiropractor her grandparents had been seeing and she was able to help her back pain go away completely! After that she became a regular at her chiropractor Dr. Sue's office.

Professional Info

Dr. Mizzoni went to undergrad in West Virginia where she rode for the college hunt seat team and trained horses at home over her school breaks. All the while continuing to keep up with her monthly chiropractic visits in WV and MA. After graduating with her bachelors in bio/pre-med Dr. Mizzoni decided that her love for animals and passion for helping people could come together perfectly by continuing her studies at New York Chiropractic College. While in school, Dr, Mizzoni took part in extra courses and certifications, such as Webster Technique, to offer care for women throughout their pregnancy, as well as pediatric adjusting. Dr. Mizzoni's goal at NYCC was to learn how to better serve her community, at the end of her studies she graduated with honors. After getting her doctorate in chiropractic Dr. Mizzoni went on to an advanced animal chiropractic program at Options for Animals in Wellsville, KS. Here she learned how to adjust large and small animals so they too can benefit from better mobility and quality of life. Dr. Mizzoni feels passionate about supporting her patient's freedom and enjoyment by helping them to continue doing the things they love, while helping support their body's natural healing power without the heavy reliance on medication, and loves being the "Family Doc". In her free time Dr. Mizzoni still enjoys horseback riding (very low key now), hiking, kayaking, traveling as much as possible and spending time with her family and four animals at home, all of which are well adjusted!
